Day Fifty

Monday AGAIN! And I think my cat has cystitis again :( She has been in and out of her litter tray loads, there is litter all over my flat (like last time she had it) and I caught her sitting in the 'wee' position on my sofa this morning! She hadn't done anything (think she is having trouble going?!) but I told her NO! and she jumped off, so I put a couple of blankets over my sofa this morning and am waiting for 9am so I can phone the vets...

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt, mixed nuts and linseeds with a Mug of Green Tea.

8.30am Pot of Green Tea

10.00am Snack
Granny Smith apple.

Pancake Day next week, so I decided to look for a low carb pancake recipe :)

Oooo I found one...

Wow! I never thought low-carb pancakes could be so delicious! These were absolutely amazing! I used a bit of sugar-free maple-flavoured syrup on them and was in Heaven!

This recipe is courtesy of Laura Dolson's Low Carb Diets site at About.com.

- 1 cup almond flour (= "almond meal" / "ground almonds" -- all the same thing)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder (not in the original recipe but it was suggested by someone who reviewed the recipe as a way to make the pancakes puffier - and it worked...)
- 1 tbsp low-carb sweetener (i.e. Splenda)

Cook them in the usual fashion. This makes three large pancakes or six smaller ones. Just know that they won't bubble on top in the pan like "regular" pancakes do.

Simply put, these are the best pancakes I've ever had.

There are six net carbs in the entire batch.

YUM!!! :D I'm assuming I can use Splenda instead of sugar and there can't be many carbs in lemon juice?

11.30am Pot of Green Tea

12.30pm Lunch
Prawn Mayo salad, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, celery

18.40pm Dinner
Rump steak with mushrooms, lettuce, cucumber, tomato and celery sticks with Primula

I didn't do any exercise except for carting planks of wood from the boot of my car to the wood bin at the Household Waste Site after work! My arms were killing me from the Charlie Brooks DVD workouts at the weekend! The cat is booked in at the vets for 16.50pm tomorrow, so I will try and at least get 15minutes in of either Wii Fitness Coach or the Wii Fit after we get back.

Day Fourty Nine

Not sure how much longer I can do the whole 'I'm not drinking because I'm dieting' thing!!! Might do some research on what alcoholic beverage has the least amount of carbs. Any ideas?

9.30am Breakfast
Scrambled egg and plummed tinned tomatoes with a mug of Green Tea

I still have two photos to frame and a lounge unit to build today so I'd better put a plaster on my blister that I got yesterday from using my screwdrivers so I can crack on with it! Better do a trip to the dump at some point too, but it might be easier loading my car up tonight and then taking it to the dump tomorrow after work.

13.30pm Lunch
Prawn Mayo salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, celery and celery sticks with Primula cheese.

Just done about 40 minutes of the Charlie Brooks DVD, I am actually doing a lot more of the Pilates section now! Yey me!! :) Couldn't do long today as need to have a wash etc before heading off to my Mum's for a roast. Minus the carbs of course! :( I'll try and remember to take a photo this time...

I had 2 mugs of Green Tea round my Mum's.

18.30pm Dinner
Roast chicken, cabbage, Brussels, stuffing and gravy with a glass of water.

Oh My God!!!! I googled carbs in alcohol and there are zero carbs in distilled vodka, rum, whiskey etc!!! Plus diet coke is zero carbs!! - I can get drunk!! Wooo :)

"Fermented beverages, by definition, start as a high-carb plant, usually grapes or a grain. During the fermentation process, the yeasts eat up the carbohydrates, producing alcohol. Whatever sugars are left contributes to the carbohydrate in the beverage, which will vary from one to another. A dry wine has little residual sugar, whereas a sweet wine can have quite a bit. Liqueurs have sugar added, often quite a lot.

Distilled spirits (vodka, rum, whiskey, etc.) have nothing left but the alcohol, so are zero carb. However, mixers are often sugary, so watch for this. Just two ounces (1/4 cup) of “sweet and sour mix,” often used for whiskey sours, daiquiris and margaritas, has 17 grams of carbohydrate."

Saturday 26 February 2011

Day Fourty Eight

7.45am Breakfast
Scrambled eggs with a bit of grated cheese :)

Off to Ikea soon to get a new chest of drawers for my bedroom as mine has slowly broken from all the moving homes I have done over the past 5 years!! I went from 2 large chest of drawers to one, and now the top drawer has come off of its runners and is unfixable as the runners have broke so I figured it was time for some new ones!

12.15pm Lunch (at Ikea)
Prawns and salad with a small mug of English Breakfast tea

19.20pm Dinner
Left over kebab chicken with lettuce and tomato.

Late dinner as building my new chest of drawers took longer than I thought it would due to the lack of building space in my bedroom! I had 3 cans of diet coke at the 30th party I went to.

As far as exercise goes for the day, I did a lot of walking around Ikea and ASDA as well as sweating a lot trying to build my chest of drawers as I had to keep moving it around my tiny room as I built it, then when I thought it was sorted, I couldn't get the drawers in as there wasn't enough room, so I had to move it again! *exhausting*

Friday 25 February 2011

Day Fourty Seven

Friday again! woo!

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with mixed nuts and linseeds and a mug of Green Tea.

Money is tight and my fridge is getting bare! I am not sure what I will have for breakfast at the weekend? I do have some eggs, but no bacon this time, and not sure what I have in my freezer/cupboard that is low in carb that I can have in an omelette, except for cheese and peppers! - Bit of a random breakfast combo though! I wonder how many carbs are in peanut butter? I'm allowed butter and nuts! Not sure what other ingredients go into peanut butter, but that doesn't go well with omelette either lol

My stomach is rumbling! Might be because last night's dinner wasn't huge?

Just googled it!

Peanut Butter (serving size) Carbs (g)
Peanut butter, chunky style (1 tbsp) 3.5g
Peanut butter, smooth style (1 tbsp) 3.1g

Cheese and peanut butter for breakfast? lol Although I am off to Ikea tomorrow, so might be able to have brekkie there, or have some fruit for brekkie and get lunch at Ikea?

8.15am Pot of Green Tea

10am Snack
Granny Smith apple.

13.30pm Lunch
Chicken and Mushroom Curry that I cooked a few months ago and was taking up room in my freezer! lol I can't remember the exact ingredients, but I don't think there were that many carbs in there, I left a lot of the sauce just in case there were carbs in there, so I mostly ate mushrooms, chicken and onions :) and a mug of Green Tea.

These work trousers used to be slightly tight on me at the beginning of the year, now look how they fit me!! lol

I've just spent over an hour cleaning my flat (cat litter tray, washing up, empty bin, kitchen floor, hoover all rooms and hang the washing on the clothes horse. Can't wait to get a DriBuddy!!). Surely that has burnt some calories?! Just waiting for my kettle to finish descaling then I'm going to do the Charlie Brooks DVD.

I did quite well on Charlie Brooks DVD today, I pushed my self harder in the high intensity section even though my dodgy toe was killing me and now I really fancy a kebab!! But not from Ali Baba at £11.50 a pop!! Just found a menu for Hitchin Best Kebab in my kitchen drawer so I might try their mixed kebab which is a lot cheaper at £8.50! I need to purchase a new hair dryer tomorrow (mine sounded like it was going to explode last night) so with the £30 I have acquired over the past week, I can get a kebab, a new hair dryer and a couple of soft drinks at the 30th birthday party I am going to tomorrow night :) So long as the other kebab shop haven't put their prices up too! :/ Am also hoping to offer lifts for a small petrol fee tomorrow night which can go towards my drinks. So glad its pay day on Monday!!

Oooo just found Bodrum Kebab Shop, which is down the road from where I used to live and they do a mixed kebab for only £7.80!! GET IN!! I'll have some of that woo! http://www.bodrumtakeaway.co.uk/menu.html

18.30pm Dinner
Bodrum Mixed Kebab. 1 skewer of shish kebab, 1 skewer of chicken kebab, and one skewer of kofte kebab (according to the menu but there was doner meat in it instead of kofte!) with salad, chillis and chilli sauce! - The pitta bread is in the bin! :) Well, it certainly made my nose run!! hehe

Thursday 24 February 2011

Day Fourty Six

Feeling good again today, even though I know today will be another stressful day at work!! lol I saw a great invention on the TV this morning, its called the 'DriBuddi'. Its a device for drying clothes which is more compact that having a load of clothes horses in the flat (like I do at the moment); it dries clothes a lot quicker and is more economical than a tumble drier! I have been looking for an alternative solution to drying my clothes for a while now as my flat is so damp and poorly ventilated, I constantly get mould patches on the walls, so this seems like the perfect solution! Of course I wasn't going to purchase it straight off of the TV, not only because my bank account is looking sorry for itself, but because you can always find things cheaper on the internet! ;) The price on TV was £57.99 + £4.95 p&p (I think), and I had a quick look online, and they sell them in Argos for under £50 (£47.99)!! - Thats nearly a £15 saving!!! I'm fed up with my clothes taking forever to dry in my damp flat and some of the thicker items of clothing smelling horrid and damp after they have taken over a week to dry! Also being on Economy 7 I figured I could set it on a timer plug and have it run over night when my electricity is one hell of a lot cheaper ;) Just been looking at some reviews and some people say a full load takes 5 hours to dry. I don't think I'll need to use it when it gets warmer as clothes don't take that long to dry, but in the winter its a nightmare in my flat!!

Take a look at its full description on the JML website: http://www.jmldirect.com/product.asp?pf_id=D2001&changecurrency=GBP

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with mixed nuts and linseeds and a mug of Green Tea.

8.30am Pot of Green Tea

11am Snack
Granny Smith apple

12.00pm Pot of Green Tea

12.30pm Lunch
Chicken Mayo Salad (Same as yesterday)

13.40pm Pot of Green Tea

No exercise for me today. No excuses, I just couldn't be bothered LOL!! I'll do my Charlie Brooks DVD tomorrow to make up for it :)

17.30pm Dinner
Smoked mackerel with lettuce. I also had a couple of slices of salami with primula inside. Mug of Green Tea.

I've just had to add most of my eats in for the day again! I'm sure I wrote them all earlier, but they've disappeared :/

Wednesday 23 February 2011

Day Fourty Five

I have just realised that I am only 1lb heavier than I was at my brother's wedding last year!!! :) HOW GOOD IS THAT?!! Its only February too! At this rate I should be able to enjoy a good few pasties in Cornwall in June as well as one hell of a lot of Cornish Rattler Cider! Ohhhh YES!!! :D Last year in Cornwall I only put on 3lbs (over 2 weeks) and I had a Cornish pasty nearly every day and drunk a good few pints of cider in the evening. We did do a lot of walking on the long beaches though which probably helped to burn the pasties and booze off ;) I can't remember if it took 1 or 2 weeks to lose that 3lbs again, I remember it coming off quite quick. I was trying to keep to the lower carb options when we had meals too (except the pasties of course!), so I'll try and do that again this year :)

Philp's Pasties, Best in Cornwall - FACT
A Philps Pasty

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with mixed nuts and linseeds and a Mug of Green Tea

8.20am Pot of Green Tea

9.50am Snack
Granny Smith apple.

10.30 am Pot of Green Tea

I was told at the weekend that there is no point in dieting like I am, all I need to do is watch what I eat and cut down portion sizes! I find following the low carb way of life much easier than trying not to cook too much portion-wise! Living alone it is hard to cook for one person without cooking too much! I think that is one of the reasons that I put the weight back on! If I had cooked too much, I tended to go back for seconds as the food was there to eat (or would most likely been thrown away, and I hate waste!!) When I used to order a Chinese takeaway, I'd get a mixture of dishes so I get a nice variety on my plate, and I used to eat half one day, then save the rest for the following day. So that would be two days on the trott of naughty food. I don't think it helps that the Chinese takeaway is a 2 minute walk from my flat either!! ;P When I have reached my goal, I think its time I got me a MAN!! lol He can have the bigger portions on his plate then! ;)

12.30pm Lunch
Chicken Mayo salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato and spring onion.

Just read this:

One of the benefits of outdoor exercise is that your body burns more calories in the cold even when at rest! Dr Dukan, founder of the Dukan dieting method, advises taking a cold shower for 2 minutes every day – just standing there is enough to burn 100 calories!

Cold shower???? Brrrr....

And this:

Geeta Sidhu-Rob, founder of Nosh Detox confides that sticking to a 6:30pm food cut-off for only one week will help you lose weight. “If you eat before 6.30pm for a week you will lose between 1 and 2 lbs. a night – it never fails! Go to sleep early to stave off hunger pangs, or watch a good DVD.”

Maybe that helps my weight loss then? As I rarely eat after 6.30pm :)

13.40pm Pot of Green Tea

16.45pm Snack
One Slice of salami filled with Primula cheese. (my belly was rumbling)

18.00pm Dinner
Turkey stirfry (kind of) with mushrooms, half a red onion, an orange pepper, a few spring onions, cauliflower, garlic and some of that Thai sweet chilli sauce for flavouring. With a mug of Green Tea.

I forgot to add my exercise on earlier. When I got in from work I did 15 minutes of the Wii Fitness Coach Cardio section and then I did its Physical Challenge (You have to do that after every 10 workouts), which involves a load of star jumps, 50 squats, some push ups and sit ups. It also asks you to enter your weight and all your measurements (waist, hips, thigh etc).

Tuesday 22 February 2011

Day Fourty Four

Well, its 'weigh day' again...

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with mixed nuts and linseeds. Mug of Green Tea.

I'm actually feeling quite bloated today, I hope that gets better by the time I weigh myself later on! Got an orange with me for my 'soluble' fibre ;)

I actually measured my waist again yesterday as I was having a feeling slimmer day (I don't get them very often!) and I have lost another cm off my waist! :) I'll have to take a picture of me holding the measuring tape at how big my waist used to be! Its crazy to think that my waist was THAT big! lol It makes me quite impressed with myself and how far I have come since 11th January! :D

Ok, some I'm not some hairy bellied bloke, but this is the only image I could find of someone holding a tape measure showing where their belly used to be! lol

I have also just realised that I have been measuring the 'hip' measurement in the wrong place!! I have been taking it from where I can actually feel my hip bones (pink line), rather than where the below image says you should measure the hips!! Oooops That is where I could notice a difference in my pics I posted on Saturday! Around my BUTT!! lol Maybe I should start measuring around the correct hip area as well as the one I thought was my hip area? lol It should lose a lot of cm by the time I'm a size 12! :)

8.30am Pot of Green Tea

10.30am Snack
Granny Smith apple.

11.30am Pot of Green Tea

12.30pm Lunch
Chicken Mayo salad, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and spring onion.

I was eager to see how much I'd lost this week as I was feeling slimmer, so I did just 10 minutes on the Wii Fit and it said... I've lost another 2lbs!!! :) :)

I'm an in the lower half of the Wii Fit's 'overweight' banding (as you can see from the above photo) If I keep losing weight at the same rate I have been, then I should be out of the 'overweight' category in 4 weeks? - Guessing from the above weightloss chart!

18.40pm Dinner
Turkey, tomato, green pepper, red onion and mushroom kebab skewers served with lettuce and a sprinkling of paprika.

Monday 21 February 2011

Day Fourty Three

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with mixed nuts and linseeds with a mug of Green Tea.

Who stole my weekend??? lol Well at least I am feeling better today, no headache or sickness feeling! I am actually feeling a bit lighter today, might be because I didn't eat much yesterday? Shame that weigh day is on Tuesdays now :)

I think when pay day arrives (next Monday) I might try a few things from http://www.lowcarbmegastore.com . They do low carb wraps etc, all a bit costly but I'll only get a few bits and not the ready meals they do. Both of the below are out of stock at the moment though.
£3.25
£6.25
Oh how cool!! I have just seen this on there:

I know its out of date, but at least I know I can have Peperami as a snack with very low carb content and I can get them in a normal supermarket!!! :)

8.30am Snack
Granny Smith apple.

10.30am Snack
One orange.

11am Pot of Green Tea

12.30pm Lunch
Prawn Mayo salad, lettuce, cucumber, tomato and spring onion

God, I am feeling really tired now!! I went to bed about 22.15 last night, thinking I'd fall asleep almost straight away, but I didn't nod off until about midnight! It must have been from when I was trying to sleep off my headache during the day yesterday?!

I did the Charlie Brooks workout DVD tonight and my calf and upper arm muscles were really painful! Must have been from Saturday's workout? I must try and exercise every day again like I was to stop the pain!! lol

18.00pm Dinner
Smoked mackerel with lettuce, cucumber and spring onion with 2 slices of salami filled with primula cheese.

Sunday 20 February 2011

Day Fourty Two

11.30am Breakfast
Natural yogurt, mixed nuts and linseeds with a mug of Green Tea

Yes it was a late breakfast today as I didn't go to bed til gone 4am last night, so I had a bit of a lay in and a lighter breakfast than my normal weekend bacon and eggs.

14.00pm Lunch
Baked Camembert cheese with celery.

18.15pm Dinner
Cheese and bacon salad, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spring onion with a squirt of mayonnaise

I went to a house party last night and drank fruit juice all night and I woke up this morning feeling like I had a hangover! It has just gone 19.00pm and I still have a headache and feel slightly sick, and have been feeling this way all day. I thought it might just be a tiredness headache as I had a late night but that doesn't explain the feeling sick every time I eat something! Feeling this way means I haven't done any exercise today as I have been trying to shake the headache.

Saturday 19 February 2011

Day Fourty One

9.30am Breakfast
Bacon (3 rashers) and scrambled egg (2 eggs) with a mug of Green Tea.

Ok, so I took a photo of me on 17th January, after I had already lost 6lbs, and decided to take monthly photos in the same clothes. I chose to wear some elasticated trousers for the photos so I can hopefully keep wearing the same trousers throughout the diet for the monthly photos. Here is the first monthly photo (Day Seven & Day Fourty One (I forgot its the 19th today, not the 17th!!lol)), after 8lbs loss (because I didn't think of doing it on Day One!)

I'd say there is a bit less flab around the belly and the width of my bum looks a bit smaller? I also take the photo by setting a 10 second timer on my camera, sitting it on my desk and standing in the same place in my lounge, to try and get as accurate a photo as possible. I only used Photoshop to adjust the lighting of the photos (so they look clearer and more similar) and crop them to remove my fluffy haired makeup-less head! :)

It doesn't look like there is THAT much difference, I should have done it from Day One really, but next month will be 17th Jan & 17th March, so hopefully the change will be more noticeable. My waist is 15 cm smaller since Day One, but only 5cm smaller from 17th Jan.

I did my Wii Fitness Coach workout about 12.30pm, did the cardio workout again for 15 minutes, I will do another once my lunch has gone down before jumping into the shower.

13.40pm Lunch
Leftover kebab meat and salad. Not a lot of salad though as there was so much meat!!! Full now.

OK, so I did about 50 minutes of the Charlie Brooks workout DVD. I worked my butt off as much as I could in the High Intensity section, then skipped it forward to the Pilates section rather than just marching it out and joining in at bits when I could. Still means I have done over an hour's exercise today though if you include the 15 minutes of cardio I did this morning.

I am just waiting for my food to cook then I can dry my hair and get ready to go out tonight...

18.30pm Dinner
Chicken wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese with mushrooms and green beans.

Friday 18 February 2011

Day Fourty

Friday!!!!! Woooo!! I am sooooo tempted to order an Ali Baba kebab for my night in, I know I have about £5 in change in my little purse... I need to get my work shoes re-healed after work which is about £6 but I also need to pop into the vets to give them my continuation insurance claim form for my cat's bills, so I should have that money coming in, but it really needs to go on my credit card. And I also have my Amex money (about £40) coming in from work which doesn't need paying off until after pay day ;) I might be able to get my kebab after all :) Obviously I don't eat the pitta bread!

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt, mixed nuts, linseeds and a mug of Green Tea.

8.30am Mug of Green Tea

10.40am Snack
Granny Smith apple

14.00 Lunch
Prawn Mayo salad

16.30pm Mug of Green Tea

The reason lunch wasn't until 14.00pm is because I had to pop into town after work to get my shoes re-healed (£8.45 instead of the £6 I paid last time!!) They were busy so told me to come back in an hour and they'd be done. Then after lunch I cleaned the kitchen, cat litter tray, polished all the surfaces, cleaned the bathroom and hoovered the whole flat then hung all my washing up. I was pretty knackered after all that so I sat down and relaxed knitting stuff for my unborn neice/nephew (we don't know the sex yet).

I phoned in my kebab order at 17.30pm, they said it would be 30-45 minutes, but they are normally late! lol *tummy rumbles*.

Well, they didn't take that long... BUT the price has gone up from £9.80 to £11.50!!!! That is a big increase, I bet its because they do it in two tubs now, a meat one and a salad one! I might have to try a different kebabary next time! Of course I didn't eat all of what is in the photos, there is a lot of meat I have put in the fridge to have with a salad tomorrow :)

18.45pm Mug of Green Tea

Thursday 17 February 2011

Day Thirty Nine

Well, its Friday tomorrow and I actually have something to do this weekend now so I have something to look forward to :) - a Jon Russell party!! But I sharnt be drinking though due to me being strict with myself on the Low Carb diet, even though I have reached the stone milestone, I still have about 19lbs to lose yet! Plus the fact I am skint again! lol

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt, mixed nuts and linseeds with a mug of Green Tea.

10.00am Snack
Granny Smith apple, and a small one at that!

12.30pm LunchPrawn mayo salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, spring onion.

14.30pm Pot of Green Tea

I didn't get home from work til 17.45pm today so no time to exercise as my belly was a rumbling!!

18.00pm Dinner
Chicken Mayo salad with cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes and spring onion.

Wednesday 16 February 2011

Day Thirty Eight

Feeling pretty good as the 1 stone milestone mark has been reached, even though I still haven't been to the loo for a few days. I took some more Senokot Max last night, hoping it will kick in today!!!

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt, mixed nuts with linseeds (extra today for extra fibre) and a mug of Green Tea.

I have brought an orange (soluble fibre) into work with me today as well as the remainder of grapes and kiwis that I brought for Day 1 of the CDD!

So, if you ask me if I would recommend having a go at the 7 day CDD after having dieted for a few weeks, I would say NO!!! No point!! I think with most diets you would lose 7lbs in your first week as your body gets used to a new way of eating, but as my body is pretty used to eating mainly fruit and veg, the cabbage detox had little effect on me!! :(

8.15 am Pot of Green Tea

10.30am Snack
One orange.

11.30am Pot of Green Tea

I have been to the loo this morning, but only once so I think there should be more to come yet :)

12.30pm Lunch
 3 kiwis and some grapes

Not quite the lunch you'd expect from someone that has had cabbage soup for lunch for seven days to eat!! lol but I don't like to waste food and I still had all this fruit left from Day 1 of CDD so I thought why not eh? I still have 2 more kiwis yet, but I can always have them tomorrow :)

I did 28 minutes on my Wii Fit today including a 'long jog', which I was knackered by the end of! lol The scales said I had decreased a little since last time lol so cabbage detox diet is still just a 2lb loss.

18.00pm Dinner
Cheese salad. Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, cheddar cheese, celery and primula and dolcelette cheese... Think I used up most of  the cheese left in my fridge lol I forgot to take a photo though, I think I was too eager to eat the cheese! I had this with a glass of cranberry juice :)

I know that not everyone that reads my blog is from the UK, so here is primula cheese spread in case you wondered.

Tuesday 15 February 2011

Day Thirty Seven - (CDD Day 7)

Day Seven:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables all you want.
Be sure to eat your soup at least once to day.

Woo! Its Day Seven finally!!!!!

6.30am Mug of Green Tea
I know today is unsweetened fruit juices to drink, but I forgot to bring some into work with me, so I'll drink some when I get home

8.00am Breakfast
Cabbage soup. Yes, I went and had it for breakfast!!! I just wanted to get my last helping of cabbage soup out of the way so I never have to eat in again!!!! I have loads left in my fridge though, if anyone wants some??

8.30am Pot of Green Tea

I plan to weigh myself after work, in case you wondered what the scales picture was for! I figured best to do today as I will be back on Low Carb tomorrow, but I will only do it tonight if the blooming Senokot MAX I took last night hurries up and works! ;P

10.30am Pot of Green Tea

12.30pm Lunch
Brown rice and one tomato. I forgot that tomato is a fruit!!! Too late now...

ok, so I get home feeling all energetic, chuck the remainder of the cabbage soup down the loo and flush, happily watching it disappear, then doing the mountain of washing up and ridding my flat of any remaining cabbage soup stench!! Then its Wii Fit time, did 13 minutes today, but those 13 minutes included a 3 minute jog (which I never feel I have the energy to do). Then it was time to weigh...

Not exactly the suggested 10-15lbs weight loss, but I did lose 2lbs which is better than I expected, as I felt like I was eating more than I normally do! Plus I haven't had a proper poo in a few days, the Senokot Max will have to be taken again tonight and I'll weigh again tomorrow if it works... Good news is I am only 1lb heavier than I was for Paul & Chris's wedding in 2009 and 3lb heavier than I was for Adam & Hayley's wedding last August. They do say muscle weighs more than fat though as I don't feel as slim as I did last year, but hey, July is a while off yet so I am well on target! I'd also like to mention that I have now lost 1 STONE!!!

18.30pm Dinner
Brown rice, half a green pepper and 2 mushrooms and a glass of cranberry juice.
