Last weigh day before the holiday!!

So, I go on holiday tomorrow and decided to weigh a day early...

I forgot to update this last week, so last week's loss was 0.6lbs and this weeks loss is 0.5lbs! Talks about losing weight slowly!! lol oh well, a loss is a loss! I am a bit peeved that I am just 2 ounces over 135lbs though! So close, yet so far... lol


So I got my yearly bonus and brought a load of UK size 10 holiday clothes with it! I just hope the sun shines a lot so that I can wear them :)

3rd round of 30DS!! - Just did 23 days this time and I STILL want a flatter belly! Will try a 4th round after my 2 week Cornwall holiday I guess! I'm SO excited!!! :D Link to full results here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/StephRP80

18th Weigh Day

I actually put on 0.4lbs!

I am hoping that the gain is muscle or water as I have lost inch-wise as well! :/ I lost 1/2 inch off my hips, 1/2 inch off my belly and 1/4 inch off my arm!

Size 10 Skinny Jeans

I ordered some weights from JJB sports online thinking it was a pair of 5lb weights and when it arrived they were a pair of 2.5lb weights that totalled 5lb. So I took them back to the nearest store after work and got my £7.99 back for them and decided to have a quick look in New Look. I grabbed a pair of size 10 skinny jeans feeling all confident after 3 pairs of my Mum's size 10 work trousers fit me. I didn't try them on in the shop as I wanted to get home and shred so I was pleased when I tried them on at home and they fit! Got a bit of a muffin top but Jillian should help me shift that. I got my 20% student discount so I got them for £7.99! Result!




I had already ordered some heavier weight to replace the 2.5lb ones. They KILL my arms! Lol





17th Weigh Day!!

I only lost 0.4lbs!

My Second Round 30DS results

I did a second round of 30 Day Shred straight after my first round, I had a few days off here and there the second time round but still did 10 days at Level 1, 10 days at Level 2 and 4 days at Level 3 as I was off on holiday for 9 days. I completed the second round (well, 24 days of it) on 19th April and after my 9 days in Switzerland I have started a 3rd round of 30DS, currently on Day 8 of Level 1 and have decided to start doing 1 day of 30DS then 1 Day of 6 week 6 pack (another Jillian Michael's DVD)

Size 10s!!!

I ordered some size 10s work trousers (suit trousers), a paisley tunic and some denim shorts all in UK size 10 from Clothing at Tesco. They turned up on Saturday and I tried the trousers on over the leggings I was already wearing and they trousers did up WITH ROOM!!! :D I did wonder if it was a fluke or not so I tried on the shorts and they also fit! They were tight fitting but I think that is the style but there was room around my waist still :)

Then I tried the top on... according to my measurements, I should still  be a size 12 on top but the size 10 top also fitted!!!! With all 3 items fitting, that can only mean one thing?

...I'm a UK SIZE 10!!

16th Weigh Day

And the result of my weigh day the Friday after I returned from Swissland is....

LOST 1.5lbs!!

I have now reached my target BMI of 22.0!!! :D

15th Weigh day before Swissland

Well, I have already met my initial target weight of 140lbs and I am just 0.8lbs off of my new target BMI of 22 which is 137lbs (9st 12lbs).

This week I lost 0.15lbs or 15oz, which is just 1 ounce shy of a whole pound and as I had a chinese take away last night that was still sat in my belly when I weighed this morning (I can feel it!) LOL I wil take that 15 ounces with a big smile on my face as I was expecting a gain with all that food in my belly! Just hope I can get rid of it before I fly to Switzerland! :)


Also lost... 0.5 inches off my thigh and 2 inches off my belly but I did gain on my belly last week which I think was from not exercising!

Happy faces all round! Next weigh-in will be 2 weeks from today so WATCH THIS SPACE :)

Early Thirteenth Weigh Day

Wii Fit said I LOST 1.8lbs!! :D I am 1.6lbs away from 22 BMI target! :D

Although, I did weigh first thing in the morning! I normally weigh just before lunch on a Friday so I might start having to weigh first thing or I might not have a loss next Friday!

Its Easter weekend and I bet my Mum wants to fatten me up this weekend so I have brought some salad and chicken to take to her's incase she doesn't have any low carb stuff in for me :)

Twelfth weigh day

Weigh in results: 0lbs lost and 0lbs gained. I stayed exactly the same weigh wise but I have lost 0.75 inches off my chest and 1 inch off my beer belly :)

Next weigh day will be on Thursday as its Easter weekend and I will be at my parent's from Thursday night onwards so I will try and get up early Thursday morning and do a weigh rather than early evening.

Going to limit posts!! :(

Hello Low Carb blog readers!


I am afraid I will be limiting my blog posts to maybe once a week, on weigh day (Friday) as I am struggling to find time to blog every day with work and my uni course and also knitting for my niece's 1st birthday. I had fallen behind on my Uni reading but have nearly caught up now. I plan to do some reading every morning when I get into work so I need to stop blogging first thing! LOL


If you are wondering what I mean by Uni reading then I am doing an Open University course and we are supplied with text books and online reading material to teach us about the subject of My Digital Life :)

I have actually lost just over a stone so far this year (since 6th January!) :D - YAY ME!!!

Tenth Weigh Day and END of 30DS!

I'm actually feeling quite slim today ready for my 30DS results and WEIGH DAY!!

I still need my Friday poo though! haha! :D

I didn't get my poo, but had good results all the same:


Actual result was -1.5lbs

I reset my goal on my Wii Fit so that it is when my BMI hits 22 :) 5lbs to go!

Last Day of 30DS

Last day of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred today!!

I have my bigger trousers on today so am having a feeling slim day :D

One more day...

Until my 30 Day Shred ends its 30 days!! Tomorrow is the 30th day!!

I might start again from Level 1 and keep doing each level in turn until I find the exercises easier to do! :/

I hope I have lost more inches by tomorrow but with the amount of food I had at Curry Club last night I am not hopeful! lol!! I might wait until Friday to do all of the measuring etc as that is my normal weigh day and I don't want to weigh a day early and at a time different to my normal weigh in!

Back on track!

Right. I am feeling human again today so will work my butt off doing Jillian later to make up for yesterday's poor effort. I couldn't do a lot of the jumping about as I could feel some water I had drank bouncing around in my delicate belly and it was making me feel ill! I did the planks etc though!

This dinner is so yum! Stuffing is carby but still under 40g a day :D

Sunday and hungover


Not sure how I am hungover as I threw most of the cider up! lol

Yoghurt for brekkie then I fancied some form of low carb stodge so I went for 2 beef burgers with mushrooms and tomatoes and cheese slices. Did the job! :)




Dinner was roast turkey with stuffing and broccoli! Got the same again for Monday I reckon!

Beer Festival...

Bacon and mushroom omelette for Breakfast.





Then I receive an invite to the local beer and cider festival so have 1/4 of the pizza for lunch.





I didn't log all the cider I drank as I threw most of it up! (Take it my body didn't like the mixture of cider?!) I drank water for the rest of the night! Then I had the other 1/4 of the pizza when I got in! :) I will definitely make that pizza again! YUMMMMM

Nineth Weigh Day

ANOTHER Weigh Day!!


I'm not sure what to expect again today! Where I have increased my calories and carbs, I have been feeling more full up, but I felt like that last week and I lost 2lbs :) I am hoping for some kind of loss as I have still been doing 30 Day Shred every day and keeping under my calories...

I had a mixed berry protein shake for breakfast :)




I only lost 0.7lbs this week! wonder if its the protein shakes, or the Mexican on Tuesday?

Lunch: cheese and sandwich pickle salad:




I made the Low Carb pizza :) It was as yummy as it looks :)





I tried a bit of stuffed crust too, but it could have done with more mozzarella!




I only had half (so filling) so I have half for another day :)
