A week of salads

I put on weight as I had a lot of meals eating out last week so I decided to do a week of salads this week to see what the scales would say.

Not losing a lot...

So I weighed this morning and had only lost 0.3lbs! Not sure why I'm losing so little?

I did lose 1/2 inch off my chest and 1 inch off my belly though!

Made some LC chilli salad bowls for dinner, hairy bikers recipe slightly edited, but it was yum!

Been bad at blogging

Couple of food pics for you and my 20 days of 30DS results...

Slow cooked pork and red cabbage was Mondays dinner

Pork chop and salad was Tuesdays dinner and egg mayo salad for lunch today

Tonight's dinner was chicken breast fillet wrapped in bacon and stuffed with pâté served with Brussels and green beans.

Saturday and still booze free!

I made an amazing low carb frittata this morning! Ham, red pepper, broccoli, cheese and eggs! Low carb, low cal and very filling.

Went out for lunch at the pub with friends and drank diet coke and green tea and had steak with lettuce leaves instead of chips and garnish!

Pork chops, broccoli and green beans for dinner too!

Oh yeah! I weighed again this morning on my new scales and had lost 0.8lbs :D

Forgot to post yesterday

I forgot to do a post yesterday so have added last nights dinner to today.

I also received my low carb megastore delivery yesterday. See below photo.

Weigh day wasn't very successful as I only lost 0.6lbs. I brought some new scales today as my portable scales gave me a different reading every time I stood on them this morning! But I've lost 1in from my upper thigh, 1/4in lower thigh, 3/4in hips, 1in waist and 1/2in from chest and arm since last Friday :)

Dinner was a load of rump steak :)

Long day...

Had a super long day in Portsmouth today! Had to scrape thick ice off of 2 windscreens, mine then the hire car's. I got stuck in traffic so after leaving just after 6am I didn't get there until half 9. I didn't get home until gone 7pm but still made sure that I did my 30DS and had a yummy dinner too!

Avocados

I have never brought avocados before and my fellow low carbers always seem to have them as they are a low carb fruit so I have brought a twin pack. I guessed that the browner looking one was the ripe one and made a packed lunch salad with it. Cottage cheese, avocado and lettuce. Hope it tastes nice or I'll have to try making guacamole with the second one lol

The avocado had started to go brown as I made the salad last night but lunch was actually pretty yum!

Not a lot to say

Just made an order from lowcarbmegastore so have some low carb goodies on their way. Have ordered some tortilla wraps and crackers so I can have something other than salads!

Dinner was the penne slim pasta with the rest of the meatballs and lunch was a cheese salad

Trying to keep carbs down

I've had a super low carb (1.7g) breakfast today hoping to keep carbs down so that I can have a hot chocolate later on :)

Didn't realise green pepper had so many carbs! :( lunch was 8.1g carbs

Keeping the carbs down failed as there are loads in meatballs too! Well, not loads but enough to take me to 20g carbs! I tried the Slim Pasta today, it didn't really taste like pasta as it was nice and light

First Saturday Fit Club

Last year I did Saturday Club with my friends where we went to a pub in town, had lunch and drank a lot of beer. This year we are doing Saturday Fit Club where we power walk across fields etc and I wore my HRM and burnt 430 calories.

I collected my slim pasta (0g carbs!!!) from town and burnt over 300 calories doing that and had left over slow cooked lamb and salad for lunch :)

Dinner was a turkey breast and some green veggies.

First weekly weigh...

I was hoping for at least 5lbs loss but I only got a 4lb loss when I weighed this morning so I'm a bit disappointed with that :( I have lost a few inches though and will take my Day 10 of 30DS photos later on today. I may post them if I can see a difference!

My lunch was amazing! I have a lamb breast joint in the slow cooker with rosemary and garlic and it smells delicious!! :)

Food has been amazing today !

Hot chocolate!!!

I can't wait to be able to up my carbs again as I purchased a hot chocolate last night that is just 4.2g carbs per cup!! :D

It's weigh day and day 10 of 30DS tomorrow!! Fingers crossed for a big weight and inch loss! Come on Jillian, do me proud!! :)

Had a random dinner tonight, didn't have many carbs left after adding 2 beef burgers for dinner so I couldn't have any veg and had egg and cheese instead with a few cherry tomatoes.
