Day One Hundred and Forty Two

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt and a mug of Green Tea.

Its WEIGH DAY again!!! I haven't done too bad on my carb allowance but I have gone over on calories a bit so I am not sure what the result will be today but it is also meant to be our weekly jog tonight so I will do that before weighing again! I will put plasters on my blisters that are still sore and wear decent socks and my new sports bra too :)

Oh yeah.... I tried the dress on again with a bra this time and it fits with a bra now :) I reckon I could still lose a few more lbs without it having a major effect on how the dress fits, so I will stick to my new target weight of losing an extra 7lbs, I have already lost 1.5lbs from my original target weight anyway :)

Here is our route from our jog/power walk today, its was a bit longer and we did it in a shorter time :) My blisters hadn't recovered from last week so were sore and weeping after the jog :(



So I weighed... now this weight is decreased a little from Thursday's weigh in, so from last Tuesday it would have been 1.5lb loss as I stated last Thursday.

Day One Hundred and Forty One

Celery and primula cheese.






18.30pm Dinner
Roast lamb with mint sauce and runner beans, cabbage, brussells, small yorkshire and ONE small roast potato.



As I hadn't eaten a lot, I allowed myself a small roast potato, which was about 12.5g carbs, again the brussells took up most of my carb allowance for the day, but surely veggie carbs can't be as bad as say pasta or bread?! :/

Chicken and bacon with leeks and a cheesy sauce





I went to a 30th birthday and had 4 bottles of Magners and some Bacardi and Diet Cokes.



The leeks and cider upped my carb and calorie intake for the day, my app says there are 11g of carbs in a Magners even though it said about 5g when I looked it up a few weeks ago!

I didn't eat all of the Chinese, I think I was still full from my late breakfast! I even left some of the meat, and that is very unlike me! lol

Day One Hundred and Thirty Seven

6.30am Breakfast
Natural yoghurt with a mug of Green Tea.

Ok, so I have added yesterday's calories to the end of yesterday's blog post too and will update the carbs and cals at the end of each post as I add foods I have eaten, possibly at the weekends this may be a tad delayed, but I will go back and update when I get a chance :)

Just tried another calorie calculator and these are the results for my height, age, sex and weight:





Confusing!!!! I'll stick to my 1270 calories I think! So long as it is well under the 1932 that I apparently need to maintain my weight then I should be good :) I got my calorie watching information from here: http://www.uk-diets-online.co.uk/low-carb-diet-article15.shtml

I was quite impressed with my stomach crunches yesterday as I normally can only push myself to 30, so I have upped it by 10! Yey me! :)

Do you know what I really need? A good POO!!!!! - Not been since Monday and I'm turtle necking and can't go :( Maybe that's what too much wholemeal and granary bread has done? White bread has the opposite effect! :/

Oh my GOD! I just did the BIGGEST poo I have ever done in my whole entire life!!!!! (It hurt!!) Must have been about 17cm long and 4cm wide, no joke! No wonder it struggled to come out!! I feel SO much less bloated and lighter today! Maybe I should weigh myself again tonight? lol ;)

So I weighed myself again after my massive poo! Can't have quite been the 5 pounder I thought it was but I guess I probably gained a few lbs via food since Tuesday? Well, I lost 1lb in weight since I weighed on Tuesday anyways:





I did more balance tests to find my Wii Fit Age too, turns out its 29:





Not sure if you can tell from the below photo, but I am 1lb below target weight as I lost 1lb according to the Wii Fit scales, but the dot for today looks lower than the other lowest dot, so I had a look at the BMI as the scales always tell you your weight in BMI then you have to go to the weight option to see how much weight you lost.





So, I went back to the other 1lb below target weigh-in and it said my BMI was 23.53





and todays BMI said 23.49


I put my new weight (1lb below target) into my iPhone app and it said my BMI was 23.52, so I changed the weight to 5.5lbs and it said a closer BMI to the Wii Fit, so I actually have lost 1.5lbs after all... I think?

The tops of my legs are killing me today!! I struggled to get out of bed this morning! lol Really must warm up next week! As well as wearing sensible socks too :) The best thing about jogging with friends is that they encourage you to keep at it and where I would have stopped jogging and switched to a walk they say we'll stop jogging at a certain landmark, which pushes me to jog that bit further than I would of had I been on my own :) It will be a weekly thing and hopefully we will eventually be about to jog the whole way without the walking in-between, but apparently that is the best way to start so that you don't give up!

I have downloaded an app on my iPhone called Daily Burn (its a free one). I have added all my food eaten since Saturday as I can't be bothered to go back further than Saturday and I have posted my carb intake for the days since Saturday. There is also a calorie counter option, so I might start using that too and set my calorie intake at 1270 ( I used a calorie calculator so that I could lose 7lbs in 2 months and thats what it said).

I did 40 stomach crunches today :)

Can you believe there are 32g of carbs in that many Brussels?! Jesus! This app will come in handy, I thought all green veg were good carbs.

Day One Hundred and Thirty Five

Well, its WEIGH DAY again!!!!! :/ Bread consumption will be the only bad factor over the past week I think, and the pancake roll! As well as lack of exercise!! Going for a jog/speed walk with a couple of friends tonight at 6pm so I will weigh and eat after that! :) Its either chicken or fish tonight for dinner, depending on the dates on the packets!


Feeling a bit bloaty again today! Not a good feeling on weigh day!! Maybe there were extra carbs in the Chinese sauces last night, but I did leave a load of sauce on my plate, so it could have been worse!

I had a bottle of wine with diet lemonade on Saturday night too! (forgot about that!)

I went for my jog with Siba and Jo and struggled with my breathing! It was like my lungs weren't getting enough air into them or something? Also got a blister on the back of each heel! I should have known not to wear trainer socks when going for a jog! D'oh! Here is the route that we jogged and power walked :) All 3.61miles of it!

If you click the weight loss image to zoom in, it looks like I lied about reaching my target weight 7 dots in from the right! But if definitely said my target weight as do the last 2 dots and the 4th dot in is 1lb under target weight! I think I have said before but the Wii Fit doesn't do 1/2lbs or 1/4lbs which may explain the different dot positions for target weight and my actual weight at the moment might be 1/2lb under target or my first target weight dot could have been 1/2lb over target?? Who knows?! lol

Day One Hundred and Thirty Four

I'm wondering if my initial idea of just adding carbs at weekends might be okay? I'll include Fridays in my weekends as I finish at lunch times anyways! So I have had bread this weekend, tomorrow is weigh day so I'll see how I do! Better do some exercise, need to tone still, so maybe have another go at the Wii Zumba? The cat moans like anything though, she doesn't like it when I'm standing up and she can't sit on my lap!!! LOL

I brought a new bikini on Friday when I went to exchange my tent at Tesco in Royston, I have been wanting a bandeau bikini with some support for ages but couldn't find any in my size and actually found one in this Tesco, but not seen it at other Tesco stores! So I grabbed it and tried it on when I got home, but the bikini top felt a bit big, so I measured myself again to check my bra size hadn't changed, and it only blooming has!! Cup size hasn't changed, but chest measurement has so I'll have to take it back or it will only fall down for my walks along the beach! D'oh! I'll have to see if its in the closer Tesco stores first before trekking back to Royston!

I've been a good girl and done the 20 minute beginner class on wii zumba. I am sweaty and my leg muscles ache so it must have done something! Now to reheat my Chinese...

Mini toasted wholemeal pittas with cheese. That's the whole pack gone now! I wonder if there will be a weight gain from the bread consumption?!

Chinese. I still have half saved in their pots for tomorrow.
Beef & mushrooms, pancake roll (I know pastry has carbs), special chow mein and spicy chicken wings.

If you are thinking 'bread has carbs in it', well I am trying to add a few carbs into my diet to try and see what helps me maintain the weight. I also brought a loaf of granary bread, might have some toast and butter for breakfast one day or something.

Having a 'feeling slimmer' day again today :D Must be all the salads I have been eating?! I still have a bit of cash left over from my hot tub holiday so I might treat myself to a Bodrum Kebab tomorrow! Not had one in a while!

It might be the Wii jogging that has made me feel slimmer too? I'll have to try and keep that up again now...

I really fancy some sticky toffee pudding again!!! Maybe I can allow myself some at the weekend to help 'maintain' my weight? Hehe! I did want to try carbs at weekends to see if that maintains my weight! ;)


Just had a look on the Tesco website and the sticky toffee pudding with the least calories comes in a tin!!! - 44.4g carbs for 1/3 tin! I find puddings quite filling! Shame they don't come in smaller tins!

A few people have asked me how long I will keep blogging my food updates for and I guess the answer to that is up until the wedding? I might blog a final post of me in the bridesmaid dress after the wedding so that I can show that I achieved my initial goal :)

I weighed myself again and am back at goal weight :) woop woop!!



I post the chart picture as well to show that I have gained and lost weight and I'm not just posting old photos of my Mii losing pounds :)
