Woo hoo! I have a laptop again!

I have a laptop again!! :D HP have replaced the motherboard and also replaced the cracked plastic around my screen :) (I have no idea how the plastic cracked as I never drop my laptop but I suspect the cat did it!)

Feeling non bloated and trousers are feeling looser around the belly and thighs so its looking good for weigh day on Friday! I think monthly photo day this year will fall on the 6th of each month as that is the date I took the first photo before I started again!

I have my first Uni tutorial on Saturday at Luton campus! :/ Had an email saying there will be 20-30 students there and 2 different tutorial groups. We will have to introduce ourselves to the fellow students (I HATE having to do this!!) then we'll be put into groups to do some activities. I'll be there for 5 hours and there isn't a canteen so I will take my packed lunch like a good Low Carber :)

I got all the ingredients for the garlic 'bread' last night so I might try that out tonight :) I really hope it is quite bread-like and not a disappointment! Although I am sure it won't turn out like the garlic bread below!

Speaking of bread, I have heard about peanut butter bread on MFP!! http://i.imgur.com/t02yE.png how nice does that look?! At 35g net carbs per loaf I'd have to split it into a few slices though, I might have to give it a bash at some point! Need to buy smooth peanut butter and some baking soda first though.

Same chicken as yesterday but a much smaller breast and with salad this time

I did my 'Physical challenge' today and have advanced again: :)

So, I gave the 'garlic bread' a go...

and its all soggy?! Looks like a quiche texture! Its currently cooling on the wire rack but I'm not holding out much hope! Just hope the peanut butter bread will be better when I try some of that!! Don't think the 'bread' will take long to cool, its FREEZING in here!

The onion bread in yesterday's post looks like more of a bread texture and I have ordered some carbquick off the net to help make it!

After cooling, I'd say it is very much like the low carb pizza base that I have made before! It has been cut into 12 pieces and is currently in the fridge! Not sure what it could be eaten with? Maybe just as a snack? I might try grilling the soggy side to see if its any better?

Total carbs: 14g, net calories: 602 calories burnt from exercise: 217

  1. The garlic bread looks more like an omlette than bread! :D

Also, you might want to lay off the garlic before you go to uni on Saturday (unless you want your first impression to be that of stinky garlic girl!).

    1. It just tasted of cheese (and garlic) not very bread-like at all! :( Pretty disappointing!

Must stop trying recipes that don't have a picture of the cooked food! D'oh! I'll only see my fellow students about once a month so not bothered about humming of garlic, at least it will keep the vampires away ;)
